Are you at least 15?: Yes, I'm 20.

Character Name: Renji Abarai
Fandom: Bleach
Character Notes: Shinigami who is the Lieutenant of 6th Division. He clearly regrets letting Rukia go when she was adopted by the Kuchiki household, and is very determined to get stronger. Would like to be able to surpass Captain Kuchiki. Can be a dork sometimes, and he and Ichigo often end up arguing.
Sample Post: Huh. Yanno until this morning I'd never noticed the strange gap in the wall between 6th Division and the living world. At least I think it's the living world I wouldn't know without looking. Need to finish this damn paperwork before I go anywhere though. If this is Ichigo or anyone else playin' a joke I will be pissed but something doesn't seem right here. Dammit I was looking forward ta a night out with Matsumoto and the others tonight but I think I better investigate this fucking thing before Captain Kuchiki starts asking questions as to why there is a strange tear in the wall. At least I have this journal to put down anything unusual in. Heh looks like Ichigo may have had a good idea fer a change.

OOC: Hope this is okay this is my first time trying an RP community on LJ. (I got here via [info]all_for_bleach )

Are you at least 15?: Yes.

Character Name: Pamela Landy
Fandom: the Bourne movie trilogy
Character Notes:
Pam is a deputy director of counterintelligence with a tendency to be too clever by half and too honest by whole. She usually has a commanding presence and does not beat about the bush. Her sense of humor tends strongly toward the sarcastic. She is highly intelligent and able to come up with logical solutions to problems at high speed and under pressure. That said, she also relies on gut feelings which can make her seem a little naive. She firmly believes in protecting people, which to her also means protecting many of their rights. Pam also hates leaving problems unresolved or working without a full understanding of the situation.
Recently, her belief in such things like the right not to be assassinated by your government led her to leak documents implicating the Director of the CIA, among others, in illegal activities. This has essentially ruined any chances for promotion she might have had. She doesn't give a damn.
As for her personal life, she hasn't got much of one. She's something of a workaholic.
Sample Post:
She was getting sloppy.

Pam genuinely couldn't remember a wall being there. There hadn't even been a chickenwire fence around this lot before. Except there must have been, crumbling brick walls didn't appear overnight.

This was unacceptable. She couldn't just not notice something she walked past every day, something that could easily hide equipment in the gaps in the mortar, or even an attacker behind wall.

Burnout. It always happened, eventually, in CI. There were ways to test herself, she'd have to do that. If she really was starting to slip up, she'd have to go back to producing analytical reports on Germany.

She was certain there were a few people that would love to see her sent back to analysis. But you couldn't leave someone who was burned out in place. It was terrible policy.

Dammit.

...This was that old lot though, right? She hadn't gotten that confused. She stuck her head around the corner of one of the larger gaps.

And dropped her bag.

How could you fit a forest in there?

Character Name: Rika Nonaka
Fandom: Digimon Tamers

Character Notes: Rika is a rather cold and indifferent girl, who has grown accustomed to being a loner over the years. She originally treated all Digimon, including her partner Renamon, as fighting machines and did not see any other purpose for them. She is a very strong-willed girl and with her tomboyish looks and broken heart on her shirt, she both appears as and is not one to mess with.
Rika's relationship with Renamon is unusual, more as a human contemporary than either a pet (like Guilmon) or a playful child (like Terriermon). Renamon is very protective of Rika, preferring to follow her around as a lookout for danger than to play or eat all day as many other Tamers' Digimon do.

Before becoming best friends with them, Rika often picked on Takato and Henry because of their emotional attachments to their Digimon Guilmon and Terriermon, believing that such attachments make them weak and unsuccessfully attempted to force them into battling Renamon.
She continued to do so until she herself formed a friendship with Renamon and the ice around her heart begins to melt away.
Soon after deciding that Digimon can be both fighters and friends, Rika stated that she doesn't feel like picking on Takato and Henry anymore and can't remember why she was so angry.

Rika's mother is a famous model, and constantly pushes Rika to worry more about her appearance, taking her to camera tests and buying "girly" outfits for her to wear (all of which Rika pushes away). Rika lives with her mother and her grandmother and rarely obeys either of them. Neither ever punish her for this. Rika's grandmother tries to relate to Rika, but Rika refuses to let her.
Rika dislikes wearing dresses, does not own any lower clothing besides jeans (as noted by her grandmother), and is convinced that there is nothing more important than being the best. She usually wears a yellow-turtlenecked T-shirt with a broken heart on the front, with short blue jeans, red wrist bands, red steel-toed sneakers, and buckles around her waist and leg.
She prefers to wear her hair in a ponytail but takes it down when she is biomerging with Renamon or dressing up. She is also described as "beautiful" by her mother's cameraman.

Sample Post: The young girl leant against a wall, listening to her personal stereo with a neutral expression on her, then glanced up at the fox-like creature standing on the roof opposite, half-in, half-out of the shadows, seemingly as motionless as a statue.

Suddenly she shivered, a chill sweeping over her as an icy wind sent a swirl of white down the street in front of her. Snow? It was the middle of summer, what was going on?

Pushing herself away from the wall, she slowly walked down the sidewalk, the city buildings changing to an icy wasteland as she shivered and rubbed her hands up and down her arms, her breath coming out as a faintly visible mist.

A pair of arms wrapped around the girl from behind as if whoever was behind her was trying to keep her warm, a quietly concerned voice whispering in her ear "You're not dressed probably for such weather"

"Renamon, stop that" the girl hissed, pushing away from the fox "I'm fine"

A flicker of movement caught their attention and they looked up to notice four dog-like shapes bounding away from a city as the sound of a wolf howling cut though the blizzard.

Are you at least 15?: Yup!

Character Name: Alba Meira
Fandom: The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact
Character Notes: Alba Meira is one of the two main protagonists of the Maximum Impact series, the other being his twin brother Soiree. He and Soiree came to Southtown at the age of 14 and were taken under the wing of Fate, a local gang boss. However, Fate wasn’t cruel, like other gangs. He treated the boys with kindness and respect, and even taught them how to fight. However, when Fate was murdered, both Meira brothers sought revenge, Alba especially.

Fate was avenged through the downfall of Mestophales during the King of Fighters tournament and Alba became the new top dog among the gangs. The new gang he had established, the Sons of Fate, sought to try and keep the peace within the city, not take it over like other gangs had tried to do in the past (e.g. Geese Howard)

But, that was only the tip of the iceberg. The next year, another King of Fighters tournament was held in Southtown, and, curious, both Meira brothers joined in order to find out what was going on. Alba ended up fighting the sponsor of the tournament, Jivatama, who was the leader of Kusiel, a sub-syndicate of Addes, which was the same organization that Mestophales was a part of. Jivatama mentioned something about Alba being ‘Juudeim’, an entity that the elder Meira brother knew nothing about, but seemed to trigger some distant memory within him. He quickly defeated the madman, finding out that he technically wasn’t even human at all and headed back to Southtown to recuperate. It was then that he found out that Soiree had disappeared....

Sample Post: The steady cascade of water felt good on his face, and honestly, Alba didn’t make any sort of move to head inside. He didn’t want to. Things had been quiet since the last tournament, but... it just wasn’t the same with Soiree gone. His twin, the only other person who really knew him...just...gone. Why? Who had made him vanish? No, he knew the answer to that question. He was sure that Addes was behind it somehow. It was the only explanation. It was just the fact of where they took Soiree that he couldn’t grasp.

He let the rain fall on his face a little more, already drowning in his thoughts and worries.

It was then that he heard a familiar voice....but it couldn’t be. He had been hallucinating a lot lately, hearing what could be thought of as his lost brother, but... there was a light that was shining in front of the older Meira brother, and a crack in the alley wall. Blinking, Alba stood, staring at it. The source of the light...was beyond the wall? That was impossible, this building had been abandoned for years.

He approached it with caution, placing one gloved hand on the brick. He immediately leaped back as the wall began to crumble, showing...a sunny field? That...that was physically impossible. But...he could hear Soiree's voice coming from the other side. Was it another hallucination? It seemed real...and he could freely step between it and the raining alleyway.

Taking a deep breath, the older Meira sibling decided to take the chance and stepped through...

Are you at least 15?: Yes.

Character Name: Mewtwo
Fandom: Pokemon (anime; dub)
Character Notes: Mewtwo is a character from Pokemon, who appeared in one episode, one feature film (The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back) and one special (Mewtwo Returns). Due to differences in characterization between the American dub and original Japanese, I will be playing Dub!Mewtwo. He is voiced by Phillip Bartlett in the first film and Dan Green in the special.

Mewtwo was a clone of Mew, a god-like psychic Pokemon, created by a scientist working with Team Rocket. The scientist wanted to clone his dead daughter, and his funding depended on making an enhanced clone of Mew. Using Mewtwo's psychic powers, he and the cloned daughter, Ambertwo, made psychic contact. She, having the memories of the original, taught him everything she could, but she eventually died. He was so torn up over it that the scientists had to sedate him and erase his memories to save his life. However, it had a lasting effect on him and he woke up a bit crazy. When they explained he was just an experiment, he killed them. When Giovanni offered him partnership, trained him, and then revealed Mewtwo was just an object to him, Mewtwo tried and failed to kill him. Mewtwo then went on a genocidal rampage against humanity, while unconsciously emulating them, until ultimately it ended up as a grudgematch between him and Mew, and a bunch of trainers' Pokemon and the clones he had made of them using IMPROVED versions of the cloning machines used to make him. Ash Ketchum died to stop all the brutal fighting and Mewtwo, touched, hid away in the mountains. Team Rocket eventually found him and used his cloned Pokemon to threaten him into submitting. However, his will was too strong, and the torture devices they were using mortally wounded him. Ash threw him into a healing spring, and Mewtwo used his powers to hide the spring and erase the memories of Team Rocket. Then he scattered the clones and flew off to the city for reasons unknown.

Mewtwo has disgustingly munchkin-y powers. He can fly, lift others, and manipulate objects using telekinesis; he can speak and be spoken to, erase memories, and control minds completely using telepathy; he is capable of psychokinetic blasts and possibly pyrokinesis. He also has an unnaturally strong intellect and an aptitude for dealing with scientific equipment. After his reform, he really only uses flight, telepathic speech, and psychic blasts for combat. Naturally a character like this needs to be nerfed, so when he crosses in to other worlds, he will only retain telepathic speech and the ability to communicate mind to mind with consent, limited self-flight and precise object manipulation comparable to human strength with his telekinesis, and much weaker psychic blasts. The range of his powers, apparently kilometers before, will be limited to about a hundred meters or line of sight outside of the Pokemon World.

As of the end of his canonical appearances, Mewtwo has been appearing around one or more cities at night, wearing a brown cloak.

Sample Post: This cannot be.

I do not understand this. Why was that barrier there, in the middle of the forest? What is this strange place beyond it? And why has this computer that I salvaged begun to act so strangely? It is incapable of receiving a wireless connection, or so I thought. Perhaps my understanding of... of technology is not so strong as once I thought it was. Then again, information technology is not my area of expertise.

But this is irrelevent. I must understand just what I have done. Some barriers... are not meant to be crossed, but in some ways it seems that I am a destroyer of barriers. I am perplexed by the possibilities of my action. Can it be that I have entered a whole new world... perhaps a world where I can exist in freedom, a world where I can belong? Or are all worlds as cruel as mine? Or is this another world at all; is it instead merely a psychic illusion planted by another of power comparable to mine.. perhaps by Mew? If you who are reading this can answer my question... I ask that you do.

Character Name: Captain Yamato; Yamato-kun; Tenzou [all are acceptable]
Fandom: Naruto
Character Notes: Yamato's unique ability allows him to use the famous Monkuton No Jutsu like the First Hokage. He also specializes in Water & Earth style jutsu. After aiding Team 7 as their "substitute Kakashi". He uses his spare time by doing charity work around Konoha. Taking on students and teaching them newly invented jutsu. Be aware that Yamato-kun might seem calm and might think things through. But being from ANBU makes him very competative and prone to show off and loves to fight.
Sample Post: [I'm going to be doing this Sample Post in 1st person]

The branches shook violently as a strong gust of wind swept through the forest. Leaves were torn from their home as they filled the field ahead in a storm of petals. I walked cautiously into the field as I slipped my hands in my vest's pockets.

"The skies...they're very ominous today..I won-"

3 shuriken flew through the branches and emerged as they headed in my direction. I leapt back as I make a string of hand signs.

"Donton: Doryuu Jouheki!; Earth Style: Earth Rampart Jutsu!"

A giant slab rises from the earth in front of me as it blocks the 3 shuriken. I quickly take shelter behind it as I scream out to my assailant.

"Whose there?!....Answer me!!..Fine then..It's my move!"

I quickly jump up from the earthen wall and stand on the top of the slab. I perform a string of hand seals and clap my hands together as the ground begins to rumble and shake.

"Suiton: Daibakufu!; Water Style: Grand Waterfall Jutsu!"

The ground begins to shake even more as the earth begins to break apart. The shaking stops as a few drops of water leak out of the newly formed hole in the ground. 5 seconds later a giant column of water bursts through the ground and shoots 20 feet into the air. I clap my hands together as I apply more chakra to the jutsu and send the column of water towards the part of the forest where the shuriken came from. It completely destroys all of the trees simply leaving stumps. There, in the rubble, lay nothing there but one of my newly appointed students. My heart stops in my chest as everything around me goes numb...I race to my students aid as countless thoughts race through my mind...I've just killed one of my students...

Hope this is ok. I've been RP'ing for about 5 yrs now, but I think 3rd person RP is more my thing.

Since you're more comfortable rping in third person, mind giving a sample? And you could've done your sample in third person if you wanted. :)

Also, something that's bothering me a bit is from your character notes. I never remember reading or seeing Yamato involved with charity work around Konoha. As for taking on and teaching students newly invented jutsu, that's a bit of a stretch if you're talking about Naruto because all he really did was help set up for some of the training Kakashi had in store for him and keep the Kyuubi's chakra repressed. Also, I can't say I've seen the competitiveness too much (unless I missed it). Showing off, maybe a little. Love for fighting... not so much. Think you could explain why you wrote that?

Character Name: Toph Bei Fong
Fandom: Avatar: the Last Airbender
Character Notes: CAUTION: SPOILERS FOR SEASON THREETwelve years old, blind, became Aang's earthbending teacher after running away from home, and learned how to metalbend on her own. Her brand of honesty is very blunt and sarcastic at times, and she doesn't like being fussed over and treated like a helpless doll (as her parents did). She's fiercely independent, acts rather crudely despite knowing the manners, etc. of high society, and until having a chat over tea with Iroh, she told the other three that she could carry her own weight and took any attempt to help her as an insult (thinking they did it out of pity for her blindness). Very rarely will she open up and let out her softer, gentler side, so most only see the tough and rock solid (no pun intended) exterior she puts out.
[info]later_days wrote:

Hahahahaha, whoops 2/2
Character Notes (cont.): As for a quick history, she ran away to some caves in her hometown of Gaoling and learned earthbending from the badgermoles that lived there. When she was 12, Toph was the reigning champ of Earth Rumble with a 42-0 record (until she faced off against Aang), and ran away from home to join Team Avatar as Aang's earthbending teacher. Moving on through the second season, she expressed her dislike for cities upon arrival in Ba Sing Se because of all the rules and regulations. Upon being tricked by a fake letter from her mother (truly sent by Xin Fu and Master Yu, owner of Earth Rumble and her former earthbending "teacher", respectively), they caged her up in a metal box to drag her home. Eventually, she was able to "see" the impurities of earth in the metal and metalbended herself out. In the third season, she most notably began cheating the cheating gamblers with earthbending, garnering quite a bit of cash before she and Katara went to pull a scam to get Toph's reward money (as she was wanted), but it turned out to be a trap, so after she and Katara broke out and rejoined Aang and Sokka, they headed back to their campsite and left soon after. Fast forwarding to the invasion, she was reunited with Hippo and The Boulder, both of whom she became happy to see once they informed her they had given up fighting for entertainment. Sokka, Aang, and Toph (after Aang found the capital empty) found an underground hideout with a metal bunker inside. They broke their way through and upon reaching the room they believed the Fire Lord to be in, they only found Azula, who goaded them and led them on a wild goose chase until the eclipse ended. Upon retreating, she, the rest of the Gaang, Haru, Teo, and the Duke all escaped on Appa for the Western Air Temple. When Zuko arrived, Toph was the only one who trusted Zuko initially. Then after the rest of the Gaang yelled him out, she snuck off on her own to find and talk to him. As a result, she found him in the middle of the night, setting him into alert, and upon firebending at the unknown intruder, Toph tripped and he burned her feet on accident. As of this point (from the leaked episodes), she appears to accept him and whether or not she's gotten payback for him burning her feet has yet to be revealed.

Overall, it's 150% undeniable that she is badass. Arguably even more badass than Chuck Norris. (And to supplement and cover anything I missed, have a wiki link.

Sample Post: Toph had gone exploring in the woods above the Western Air Temple, rejoicing that she didn't have to be carried everywhere anymore. She found an open area littered with rocks and threw them around for a while until she got to the edge of the clearing and found something unusual. It felt like a wall of some sort.

Curious, she walked over and placed a hand on it. She wasn't sure what it was made of, but it didn't appear to be of earth or metal, rendering her unable to determine what it was made of. Whatever this wall was made of, though, it felt as if one well-placed and powerful blow could possibly take a chunk out it.

Getting an idea, Toph took one of the boulders she hadn't destroyed and placed it in front of her. She cracked her knuckles, spit in the palms of her hands, and rubbed them together. Taking a stance, she stretched out her arms toward the boulder and spun around in a circle. Gaining speed and momentum with every turn, she finally released the rock, sending it flying with great force at the mysterious wall. Grinning when she heard a definitive crash, Toph walked over to the wall and found that a decent-sized hole had broken open. As she squeezed through, she was stunned to find that whatever this place on the other side was, it definitely wasn't her world.

A lot of weird things had happened to her before, but this one topped them all.

Character Name: Jade Curtiss
Fandom: Tales of the Abyss
Character Notes: Colonel Jade Curtiss, Third Division, Malkuth Army is known for his lack of sympathy as well as his crude, sarcastic personality. Often called the best friend of the Emperor, it is well known that when he is sent on an errand in place of the emperor, it typically means that the situation is serious.

Jade, as a child, was a devil. To the point where his own sister would be unhesitant to present that title upon him. He would torture innocent monsters around his snowy hometown of Keterburg. Considered a genius, he was very skilled in casting fonic artes, able to perform some that even adults found difficult. His sister, Nephry broke her doll one day, instead of going to buy her a new one, Jade created an exact replica of the broken toy instead. It was the first of many replicas that Jade would create. One day, when visiting the house of his teacher, Gelda Nebilim, Jade experimented with seventh fonons. Unable to control them, things became chaotic as the house caught on fire, and also striking Nebilim in the process. Just as she was dying, Jade managed to create a replica. This replica, unstable and crazy by every meaning of the word, was out of control and caused havoc until she was sealed away.

From that incident, Jade was discovered and found to have much potential. He changed his last name from Balfour to Curtiss as he was adopted into a military family. From that point on, he grew up to develop a personality that was hard to decipher. Always smiling, not allowing anyone to get into his head, he would follow through life where only his sister and his childhood friend, Emperor Peony, could manage to tell what he was thinking. And even then, it was on rare occasion for him to get truly upset enough to let the façade drop.

Sample Post: Jade nodded as the soldier reported what he saw. A barrier, he said? Something he couldn’t break through? Not surprising. The training forces were getting lazier and lazier with the recruits. The new ones couldn’t even bother to make the Colonel a decent cup of coffee without freezing up with absolute terror. But then again, who could blame them?

Dismissing the soldier without a second thought, the Necromancer continued to finish the paper work Peony had set up for him. It shouldn’t take long, soon enough he would be on his way to Daath to assist Fon Master Ion, attempting to arrange the peace talks.

Oddly enough, the idea still stuck in his head. What sort of barrier could this be? A wall someone was setting up? Did they have a permit for it? With a slight sigh, Jade stood from his desk and began heading out the door. He’d be thinking about this until he got an answer, he was sure of it. Not to mention Peony would eventually get word of it, surely Jade would have quite a few questions to answer about why he didn’t act on it earlier. Better not have His Majesty start questioning Jade’s authority and threaten to remove him from his rank. Of course, it’d never happen, but it’s better not to let anyone get any ideas to attempt to ruin his reputation.

Heading out into the Theor Forest, where the soldier had claimed the barrier to be, Jade looked around. Who would create a wall in a forest? Foolish, he thought, and just as he was about to return on his way back to Grand Chokmah, something caught his eye. Walking over to it, he ran his hand across the surface, not sure what it was. It didn’t seem to be any particular element or substance, he thought. Stepping back a few paces, he cast a brief fonic arte, surely Stalagmite would be enough to break it.

Spires of rock appeared from the ground, digging into the wall and breaking straight through it. Approaching it cautiously, Jade found that he created a hole in the wall, not surprising. Allowing his curiosity to get the better of him he stepped through and found himself in a completely different area.

Glancing around, unable to recognize his surroundings, he smirked slightly, pushing his glasses up a bit. …This surely beat doing paperwork.

Character Name: Baiken Seishino
Fandom: Guilty Gear
Character Notes: Baiken is one of the few Japanese people left in the Guilty Gear world, mostly because of the fact that the Gears, magical bio-weapons created by mankind, had gone berserk and started murdering them for the sake of sport. When Baiken was young, she lost not only her parents to a Gear attack, but also her right arm and left eye. Within the flaming wreckage of the colony she grew up in, she saw one man standing within the flames- That Man, the creator of the Gears. As a result, she swore revenge on him and all Gears.

Baiken is extremely proficient in sword combat, even though she can only wield it one-handed. She also has a multitude of weapons hidden in her sleeve, including a cannon, a hooked claw on a chain, a spear, and a bladed fan. (It's even canon- she's got Hammerspace in her sleeve. For the purposes of when the downgrade happens during crossover, though, only the chain/claw will be presently available unless she consciously decides to switch weapons beforehand-she can only have one hidden weapon at a time)
Sample Post: I normally don't write much in this journal, but this was something that I couldn't stop thinking about, even after I had left.

I had come upon this strange wall within the wilderness, one that I know wasn't there before. It couldn't have been, I know that forest better than most. But what else was odd was the fact that this wall...had a hole in it. And what lay beyond that wall...

Was something that I had never seen. Which is saying a lot, I have seen many things during my travels. I wonder...could I possibly use this to help me with my revenge?

Character Name: Zack Fair.
Fandom: Final Fantasy VII.
Character Notes: [ CRISIS CORE SPOILERS! ] Zack Fair was born in the small backwater town known as Gongaga. When he joined Shin-Ra at age 14, he was taken under the wing of a man by the name of Angeal Hewley, who taught him how to fight and take care of himself. He was probably the biggest influence on Zack, who had aspired and was determined to become a hero and SOLDIER 1st Class. He was constantly sent on missions and because of his fierce dedication and skill, and he finally made it into First Class but not without a price. He was forced to kill Angeal when he morphed into a gigantic beast in Modeoheim, where he also believed to have ended the war with Genesis, an old friend of Angeal and Sephiroth's who was causing trouble with his clones. Before Angeal died, he passed on his Buster Sword to Zack.

A couple years after that goal was achieved, he was sent on a mission to Nibelheim, where a fellow SOLDIER, Sephiroth, went mad and set the town ablaze. He and Cloud, a young guard also on the mission, challenged him and Cloud ended up throwing Sephiroth down the mako reactor shaft they were in, but both were mortally wounded. They were captured by a scientist, Dr. Hojo, and contained for four years. Zack broke himself and Cloud out, on the run from Shin-Ra. Cloud was comatose from the severe overdose of mako he received when they were experimented on. To make matters worse, Genesis returned, leaving Zack to be the one to take him down for good. He headed to Banora, Genesis's hometown, and ventured into the cave where he resided, leaving Cloud with Lazard, who was now an Angeal Clone. Defeating Genesis (who strangely didn't pass on to the Lifestream) and letting Lazard finally rest in peace, Zack took Cloud and continued on their way to Midgar. On the way, Shin-Ra soldiers had been tracking them and eventually cornered them on a cliff. He put Cloud in hiding and went out to challenge the large group of soldiers, but couldn't escape their line of fire. He was left on the cliff, barely alive, when Cloud snapped out of his coma and made his way over to Zack. He told Cloud to remember him and passed on the Buster Sword to him before he passed away to the Lifestream, which Angeal is seen lifting him to.

Any other information can be found at his FFWiki page.
Sample Post: "Man oh man..."

This was definitely not the Lifestream anymore. It seemed beautiful and peaceful enough to be, but he was positive he could tell the difference. Infact, he felt rather... alive. A few glances around told him that he was in a garden of sorts, standing near some statues. He didn't know how many exactly, but three of them looked broken. He tilted his head to the side curiously, regarding them for a moment. Somehow, they looked familiar, but like this place, he knew he'd never seen them before. It was a crazy feeling that just proceeded to make Zack Fair confused. He spotted a flame atop a mountain in the distance, but despite curiosity, he figured heading that way wouldn't help him much. With a heavy sigh, he rubbed the back of his neck and looked at his surroundings again. "Well, standing around isn't gonna help me figure out where I am," he thought aloud finally.

So he started wandering off in a random direction, looking for some locals to tell him where he was. With a little spring of energy, he broke into a jog and headed for some buildings. Buildings meant people, right? And people meant figuring out where the hell he was-- and some food to fill his growling stomach.

That sounded like as good a plan as any right now.

Character Name: Karin Koenig
Fandom: Shadow Hearts 2: Covenant
Character Notes: Karin Koenig is an officer of the German army and a descendant of a long line of Bavarian nobility. In a church in Domremy, she is saved from a grenade by a man named Yuri -- in a demon form. Karin later joins Nicolai in search of the Holy Mistletoe. With the Mistletoe, Karin accompanies Nicolai to Domremy where they come upon the demon in the church. The "demon" changes to the Harmonixer Yuri, Nicolai ends up inflicting the curse of the Mistletoe. At this point, Karin switches to Yuri's side.

When it comes to her personality Karin is a strong, fiercely independent and well-mannered woman... who cares for people.

Sample Post: It seemed like any other day, though Karin had no reason to suspect a rather odd finding. In the distance she could see something, it looked as though it was a wall... but why a wall? There had surely never been a wall there before -- not that she could recall at least. Perhaps she was simply mistaken, maybe there had been one there all long.

Stepping closer the view became clearer. A crumbling, brick wall that seemed to block the way to another land. Though it hardly could be considered blocked anymore -- it would be easy to explore the other side. Her hand remained near her saber as she inspected the wall. As an officer of the German Army she knew to expect the unexpected. As she had been through the unexpected many times in her life.

Now one question remained trapped in her mind... dare she explore what laid beyond this wall?

Character Name: Daimon, Masaru <--surname first
Fandom: Digimon Savers <--Er, only remember the first half of the Japanese version at the moment
Character Notes: Currently I remember the first 20 episodes (...and the series/season finale) so for now he'll be a shonen retarda cocky punk who is not very smart but can still kick your ass. :P

Also, he has Agumon. Agumon can only digivolve as soon as Masaru aquires some Digisoul by punching giant digimon. I figure that if they are in the other Digimon countries, Agumon would be subject to their rules on how they digivolve (Adventure 01/02 - they just digivolve if I recall correctly; Tamers - you need Calumon/Culumon to be nearby I think; Frontier - ordinary local Digimon will digivolve if the situation is needed (like in Adventure) but that was only seen in an early episode...yeah. :/). And of course, outside of those, er, countries, Agumon wont be able to Digivolve. But Masaru will still punch enemies in the face. :P

They are also part of DATS (Digital Accident Tactics Squad in the Japanese version). DATS is around to make sure that Digimon don't come into the human world and cause chaos and to figure out why the hell is barrier between the two worlds is forming random holes here and there lately. Here in Fandom_crash, Masaru and Agumon stumbled indecide to check out whats behind the invisible fourthwall without reporting this discovery to DATS. Fail. Then again, they probably already knew about it before Agumon and Masaru found it. :P
Sample Post: Huh. Well, this is different.

Aniki, something tells me that this isn't the Digital World.

Eh? Hey wait, you're right. So where the hell are we?

I dunno, Aniki. ._.;

...Heh, I bet we can find some worthy opponents out here!

That sounds like a plan, Aniki!

Oh yeah. With my fists and Digisoul, there is no way we would lose!

Are you at least 15?: Yup! :D I'm sixteen~

Character Name: Kairi
Fandom: Kingdom Hearts
Character Notes: Kairi originally lived in Hallow Bastion, but she was sent to Destiny Island a few years before the game [Kingdom Hearts] began. She soon became good friends with Sora and Riku. Kairi is one of the seven Princesses of Heart. During the beginning of the first game, her heart was seperated from her body, which led Sora and Riku wanting to find a way to revive her. Kairi's heart was discovered to be in Sora's body, at which point he gives up his heart in order to restore hers, transforming himself into a Heartless. Soon after, Kairi finds Sora's Heartless and restores him back to human form. After Ansem's defeat, Kairi is left behind on the reforming Destiny Islands and separated from Sora at the end of Kingdom Hearts. Sora promises to return to her with Riku, and Kairi waits on the island for their return.

In Kingdom Hearts II, when Kairi starts to remember Sora, she is confronted by Axel, who wants to use Kairi to lure Sora to him. Axel takes Kairi and Pluto and locks them in a cell in The World That Never Was. She escapes the cell with the help of Namine and they are saved later by Riku, who gives her a keyblade to fight off the heartless. After the final battle, she returns home with Sora and Riku. (She comes from post-Kingdom Hearts II, btw.)

Sample Post: Hm, it doesn't look like Sora and Riku are around. ... I wonder where they are. I wonder where I am. I don't remember much... I remember being with Sora and Riku on Destiny Islands. Reading the letter. I remember that.

Then nothing.

Pitch black.

Endless black.

And now this.

Maybe I'm a heartless? Or maybe I was a heartless? I was in darkness... that's all I remember—no, wait; I couldn’t be a heartless, could I? Maybe, maybe I was dead? No... haha, if I was I wouldn't be here. Oh, I don't know... it's confusing.

Eugh, Sora? Riku? Guys... please come find me. You're good at finding me. Please. I don't want to be alone anymore. I don’t like it. I’m not supposed to be here… I’m supposed to be with my friends! … I don’t want to be here!

Save me.

Character Name: Shawn Spencer
Fandom: Psych
Character Notes: Shawn is a thirty year old professional drifter, born in Santa Barbara, California, in 1978.

Growing up, Shawn was adventurous and mischievous, often dragging his best friend Burton Guster (Gus) into trouble with him. Shawn's mother was an indulging, absent background figure who supplied her son with everything he wanted within the limits set by his father. His father was a police detective set on raising Shawn to follow in his footsteps, using games and puzzles to train his son to be aware of the world around him, to the extent of the boy developing an eidetic memory.

Shawn's parents divorced in 1992, leaving Shawn alone with his father and left Shawn hyper-aware of his Henry's expectations and Henry likewise aware of Shawn's rebellion. Tension between the two came to a head two weeks before Shawn's high school graduation, when he borrowed his father's truck without permission and Henry arrested him in return. Shawn disappeared shortly after, with only the occasional post card to his father (with no return address) and letters to Gus to keep in touch.

He spent the next decade between jobs – including a stint as a foot model and a trip to Thailand as a teacher for an English as a second language class – managing to graduate college with a degree in psychology in the meantime. In 2006, he moved back to Santa Barbara and reconnecting with both Gus (who had grown from a socially awkward, bright kid to a socially awkward pharmaceutical representative) and Henry, who had retired from police work and left for Florida only to return when Shawn was back in town.

While Shawn still wasn't a cop, he still knew enough to recognize a crime when he saw it, and he often found himself calling in tips – anonymously and not so anonymously – to the police. After calling in another tip, the detective on the case was suspicious of Shawn's involvement with the crime. When the detectives fail to believe he truly had perfect recall and was trained by a cop, he convinced them he was a psychic instead. Shawn and Gus shortly after opened up a psychic detective agency where they take their own cases and consult for the police department.

((There's some fanon mixed with the canon there, especially in regards to his mother. The rest can be found from various sources, including the USA Network website and the show itself. If that's alright~ Second RP evar. Rarr. Also forgive me for writing this as if no one is familiar with the fandom.))

Sample Post: Dude.

Who turned on the lights?
Shawn cracked his eyes open, bemused that someone would be aiming floodlights at his bed at three in the morning, when Captain Crunch time was over and he could finally sleep.

Sunshine. Lots and lots of sunshine. A check for vitamin D, there. And that he wasn't a vampire. Or a zombie. Maybe. Shawn felt like a zombie. Maybe he'd been drugged? Return favor for the laxatives in Lassiter's coffee? A return favor that had him dropped in the middle of a beach. A warm beach, admittedly, and he didn't have sand down his pants. Yet. ...Though he was missing his left shoe.

Turning his head a little to the left, he could see the sun over the water. Going down, assuming he was in Santa Barbara still, instead of, oh, say, Mexico. Or Margaritaville.

Actually, Margaritaville would explain a lot.

And he felt like he had just laid down. Maybe he was hallucinating. LSD. Lack of sleep. Same thing, really.

Shawn's eyes slipped shut involuntarily. He'd wake up at home in a little while, drug induced hallucinations aside.

In a little while.

Character Name: Kairi
Fandom: Kingdom Hearts Series
Character Notes: Originally, Kairi is a resident of Hollow Bastion, but she was sent to Destiny Islands by Xehanor a few years before the events of Kingdom Hearts. During the first game, Kairi is 14 years old, the events of this game lead to her heart from being separated from her body. This led to both Riku and Sora searching for a way to revive her. However, it is found out that Kairi's heart resides within Sora's body, at which point he gives up his heart to restore hers -- transforming himself into a heartless. Soon after, Kairi finds Sora's heartless and by protecting him he returns to his human form. Once Ansem is defeated, by Sora, Donald and Goofy, Kairi is left behind on Destiny Islands -- where she waits for his return.

Post KH2... even though the sample implies before that. I was undecided on the timeline.

Sample Post: She had spent many days on this beach, watching the water, watching the view and looking at shells. Though Kairi found herself looking down as she stood near the ocean, the waves gently washing ashore. It didn't feel the same standing here -- she was alone. There was no Riku or Sora beside her, now that she remembered Sora once again.

Turning around she walked away from the beach, not sure where she was heading. At this point she was just walking. Though eventually she found herself stopping in her tracks... what was this that she was seeing? It seemed there was once a barrier off to the side of this path. Kairi slowly walked toward it, finding herself curious. Glancing behind her, there seemed to be no one else who was paying attention to this -- how could they not? It certainly wasn't usual. Standing there for a second she thought about what to do, before finally taking a step over to the other side... she had to see this place.

Character Name: Rose Tyler
Fandom: Doctor Who
Character Notes: When Rose was 6 months old, her father died, leaving her to be raised by her mother. When she was in secondary school, she convinced the choir to go on strike, and was suspended. She dropped out of school at the age of 16 and left home, to live with her then-boyfriend, Jimmy Stone. Jimmy Stone eventually left her, and she had to return to her mother, hundreds of pounds in debt. Her mother took her back, and found her a job working in a shop, and she also began to date Mickey.

She met the Doctor (9th) while working in a clothing store known as Henrik's. He helped her escape when the Autons were running around, before blowing the shop up. After helping him defeat the Autons and save Earth in the process, Rose turned down his first offer of companionship. It was only when he asked for a second time that she accepted. The first place he took her was the year 1 billion, to see the Earth burn. It was an adventure that found her almost losing her life but even so it didn’t deter her from wanting to stay with him and keep on traveling. They met Charles Dickens in Cardiff on their next adventure, and eventually, she returned home, supposedly after 12 hours, only to find out that the Doctor had gotten it wrong, and she had been missing for 12 months.

Of course, when she came home, Earth was dealing with another alien problem, and Rose and the Doctor ended up locked in Downing Street with a few aliens, eventually locking themselves in a closet so they wouldn't die in the explosion that killed the invading Slitheen. Then, when going to the future, Rose accidentally regenerated a Dalek, visited the future and helped the Doctor with the Jagrafess, and almost destroyed the world when she saved her father from dying. She and the Doctor went to the London Blitz, and met Captain Jack Harkness, who had originally planned to con them (he first saw Rose hanging from a barrage balloon in the middle of an air raid, and saved her while she was falling, then charmed her with dancing on top of an invisible spaceship). Now traveling with Jack, Rose and the Doctor went back to Cardiff and met Mickey, and, while Rose and Mickey were dealing with their relationship problems, they also had to deal with another alien.

After that, Rose, Jack, and the Doctor, after visiting Tokyo, were abducted by an unknown (at that time) force, and stuck into game shows, with Rose in the Weakest Link. She was, apparently, killed by the Anne-Droid, but later discovered by Jack and the Doctor to be alive and captive by the Dalek fleet. Jack and the Doctor rescued her, and, back on the game station, started to plan how they were going to save the world. Eventually, the Doctor tricked Rose into the TARDIS, and sent her back to her own time, and, frustrated, Rose began to look for a way back. When she saw the words "Bad Wolf" in big letters, she realized that Bad Wolf was a message to her, to get her back to the Doctor. With the help of her mum and Mickey, she managed to open up the console, and absorb the time vortex, getting her back to save the Doctor, and evaporate the Dalek fleet. She also brought a now dead Jack back to life, making him immortal. The Doctor took the time vortex out of her with a kiss, which caused him to regenerate.

2/2
With his new body and after dealing an alien race called the Sycorax back home during Christmas, Rose and the Doctor continued on with their travels through time and space.

However, they weren't back together for long. Rose and the Doctor returned home, only to find that "ghosts" were all over the place, and, tracing the "ghosts" back to Torchwood, were immediately drawn into a war. The "ghosts" turned out to be Cybermen, and Torchwood had been ripping a hole in the universe, a hole that had started when a void ship, with Daleks in it, came through. Trying to find a way to get rid of the Daleks and the Cybermen, the Doctor first sent Rose away, to the alternate reality, but Rose came back again and the two of them got to work in the process, opening the void and effectively sending the Daleks and Cybermen into it. The lever on Rose's side began to go offline, though, ruining their plan, and Rose, while trying to put it back into place, was almost sucked into the void herself, until her alternate father appeared and saved her just in time. Rose and the Doctor were now separated, permanently, since the dimensions were closed for good again.

The Doctor managed to find a little crack, big enough to send an image of himself through, so they could say their final goodbyes. Rose revealed that she was now working for Torchwood, and told the Doctor that she loved him. The Doctor was cut off before he could reply, only saying "Rose Tyler, I--" and Rose was left on the beach, crying.

Sample Post: While traveling to foreign and far off worlds and places might be a strange concept for a normal person to grasp, for her, however, it was second nature almost. An old habit that she’d never thought she’d get to experience again. It was something that she had missed, even if the form of travel was still rather new. But as always she would adapt.

Having followed the Doctor’s instructions, she had made it to the destination jumping through two different teleporters. As she walked along taking in the scenery, it was an improvement on what she had seen from her first jump. No ruins that she could spot unlike in Nhode, but maybe it was because she was underground. Still what she had seen previously had alarmed her amidst her excitement. She couldn’t let her world come to that. She wouldn’t, even if it wasn’t her planet or anything remotely close to what she considered home.

When the familiar blue police box came into view, all of Rose’s thoughts were silenced as she felt her heart skip a beat. It was really here. He was really here. Her eyes lit up and she beamed making a sprint towards it, everything else forgotten for the moment. Reaching the door, she pulled on the silver handle but of course it was locked. No surprise there. Fishing out her old key from her black jacket pocket, the blonde silently hoped that it would still work. And it did much to her delight. She pushed the wooden door back and stepped inside.

Empty. Or was it? She couldn’t really see the Doctor from where she stood, her sights focused elsewhere, taking in her home again. She almost couldn’t believe it. But he had to be here, right? "Doctor?" She called out venturing deeper in.

Character Name: Sasarai

Fandom: Suikoden (III)

Character Notes: Sasarai is a bishop of Harmonia and bearer of the True Earth Rune. He appears in both Suikoden II and Suikoden III leading Harmonian forces into neighboring territories. Despite his position, he is actually a fairly kind and nonchalant person. In the world of Suikoden, an individual cannot possess more than one True Rune at any given time. In order to bypass this limitation, High Priest Hikusaak, the spiritual leader of Harmonia, created clones of himself to use as living containers for the True Runes. Thus, Sasarai and his "brother" Luc were created to bear the True Earth Rune and the True Wind Rune, respectively, which Harmonia had already acquired. Sasarai was trained from his early childhood to become a bishop of the Harmonian Church, a position of extremely high rank within the Harmonian theocratic government, yet was never informed of his true disposition.

At the age of 17, he leads Harmonian reinforcements intended to support Highland's campaign over the City States of Jowston. His involvement was short-lived however, as his forces were devastated by Luc when he used his True Wind Rune in a surprise attack, forcing him and his troops to retreat back to Harmonia. Shortly after, he become involved in the struggle for power within the Howling Voice Guild, where he assisted Nash Latkje in his revenge against Zaj Quilos.

Fifteen years later, Sasarai leads an expeditionary force into the Grasslands following the rumor of the reappearance of the Flame Champion. The expedition quickly escalates into an invasion, urged on by the recently appointed ‘Masked Bishop's’ actions during that time. Harmonian forces overwhelm the Safir Clan, but they are stalled at the Chisha lands after Sasarai loses a duel with Hugo of the Karaya Clan. Later on, though, both the Chisha and Duck clans fall to the Harmonian onslaught; they are stopped only at Brass Castle, and only due to withdrawing a large number of their forces to not risk them all being destroyed by the True Fire Rune.

Luc soon reveals his betrayal of Harmonia by forcibly taking Sasarai's True Earth Rune, as well as revealing their nature as clones of Hikusaak. Sasarai then allies himself and Harmonia with the new Flame Champion's forces to defeat Luc. Later on, after Luc is defeated, Sasarai returns back to Harmonia...questioning himself—as he had learned the truth of what he is.

Sample Post:

The brown-haired individual walked through the halls of a large structure in Harmonia--it being the Crystal Valley in which was a rather familiar place, even to those outside Harmonia. The place itself was sacred however, so not many people were allowed to enter the place--unless you were a bishop or some other kind of important person. Even in the darkness, the place lit up like a lantern even though he was probably one of the only people around.

However, Sasarai liked how the night fell over the building's structure and how everything seemed to sit still...the place itself feeling tranquil. It gave him time to forget all the terrible events that happened to put stress on his whole being, as well not having an identity crisis. Not that he was having one.

As he looked through one of the tall windows that put on look of grandeur to the place that the bishop normally attended unless he was...doing some thing else.

Then he took another step forward and all he knew as his reality shatter before him like pieces of broken glass--Sasarai knew he was not on his world anymore. But he took a determined step forward.

Are you at least 15?: 21

Character Name: Bridge Carson
Fandom: Power Rangers: Space Patrol Delta
Character Notes: Bridge has an unusual power: aura reading. By waving a bare hand, he can tell what a person is like, all by the color he sees. He can also get limited impressions from objects. Later on he manifests the ability to read minds and prophetic dreams. Which, if any of those should be nerfed out of his home canon is up to you guys; I'm not sure he would qualify as a godlike character, although he is definitely overpowered, but I'd be comfortable if he retained the ability to see auras and aura trails and lost the rest. On his powers: He sees them through his hands, but it's visual: psychic synesthesia. Each person has fairly stable colors, which change as they change, and each person seems to have one major color, perhaps with shades of others. It's very specific--the only time he ever gave a specific color for a character, it was someone he'd never met before and it was "burnt amber." Bridge's psychic powers are in some way distressing or distracting to him--given his odd behavior fanon says distressing--and so to dampen them he wears leather gloves. He still has an uncanny intuition with them on, though.

Bridge and two other mutants were on the B-squad of SPD Earth. Right after they got their morphers--became Power Rangers--they brought two other mutants in to join the team. (actually, all their parents were scientists in the same lab accident). Bridge was green ranger. Eventually, due to a mistake Bridge and Z made, the evil Troobian empire managed to get to Earth and attacked sporadically. Bridge was instrumental in stopping them, using his psychic powers and deductive skills. He formed very close friendships with the others, especially Sky, his roommate. Eventually, the B-squad ended the war (defeating the A-squad, who had turned coat), and a series of promotions left Bridge as blue and then red ranger (red rangers are team leaders). while the red ranger, he went back in time about 20 years, to 2007, to help the Operation Overdrive rangers stop Thrax, then went home. I'll pull him from some time after that.
Sample Post: Okay, so since when can my morpher access the internet?

Did my morpher get some kind of super-secret upgrade? No, Sky would have told me about that. So why is my communicator showing me some kind of blog site? That's not possible. But clearly it is possible, because it's happening, it's not impossible because if it's impossible it can't happen. ...or maybe I'm dreaming? Or hallucinating? I don't think I did anything that would make me hallucinate but I wouldn't put it past a criminal to hypnotize me. But I wasn't fighting a criminal, I was tricking out my bed and fixing my toaster. Maybe there was ergot in my toast and I'm hallucinating (more than normal) from that, and I'm imagining that I just crossed some kind of barrier and ended up right under some freaky castle on a weird mountain when before I was way far away from the mountains...well, not way far away, I was in California, California's not that far away from the mountains but the mountain I was looking up at was definitely not in California. I don't even think it ws earth, actually. Maybe Sam teleported me to another planet for a few minutes? But if he did that then he would have had to have been there to teleport me back, and he couldn't have been because I don't think he can teleport himself, so how did he know to teleport me back when I started walking back? And he couldn't have made that barrier. Sky could have made a barrier, but it didn't look like his and there's no reason he'd prank me with Sam.

Well, I don't know, and I don't know why my morpher brought me to some blog site that's not a real blog site, and why everyone who's posting on it is talking about crazy stuff. And when I say stuff is crazy, it must be really crazy, because I'm crazy. Either that or it's completely sane. Anyway, I'm going to try to read this stuff, and maybe check myself into the infirmary, just in case. I'm Bridge Carson, and I'm with SPD. Does anyone want to tell me what's going on?

Are you at least 15?: Sixteen, as a matter of fact!

Character Name: The Doctor (Ten)
Fandom: Doctor Who
Character Notes: The Doctor is a time traveling alien from the planet Gallifrey, which has been recently destroyed, mostly thanks to his doing, in a Time War between his people and their enemies, the Dalek. Rather than dying like humans, he regenerates into a new body, and is currently on his tenth.

Before the distruction of his planet, Time Lords were only allowed thirteen regenerations, but now that it has been destroyed, the amount is uncertain.

In addition to regeneration, he also differs from humans biologically, with his two hearts, hyper advanced brain, and birespitory system.

He travels the universe in his ship, the TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimension in Space), often saving planets and the universe as a whole, sometimes with assistants he refers to as 'Companions'.

=3 have a wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_%28Doctor_Who%29

Sample Post:

Ten had been relaxing in the library when the cloister bells started to go off. He blinked a few times before sprining to his feet and dashing out the door, down the hall, and to the TARDIS consol. He tapped a quick few letters into the keyboard in front of the monitor and pulled out his specs, adjusting them on the bridge of his nose.

"What? But that's not possible." He pointed at the screen in an accusatory fashion. "No, seriously, that's really not possible." He tapped a quick few more times.

"Oh what do you mean the barrier's not there, of course it's there, those are two seperate universes, keyword there, seperate. This is not good. This is really not good..." Right, that's it. He was going to Cardiff.

Part 2
With the turn of a few levers and a couple mad dashes around the consol, there was a loud wheezing, popping, grinding noise as his ship touched down. He made to dash out, but for some odd reason, the doors wouldn't open.

"Hey, what's this, come on now, I've got to go talk to a horny American man who apparently hasn't been keeping up on his job." He rattled them a few more times before returning to the monitor. He stared at the screen, bug-eyed.

"What? What?!"

Some sort of screen had popped up, was that... that was a blogging community!? Here he was trying to save the universe, and there was blogging?! Why was it always blogs!?

His eyes darted over the screen and a small 'o' formed on his lips. So that's why there was blogging. He sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
